Glance (“the app”) is a local camera viewer for Android phones, tablets, and Android TV / Google TV. It lets you watch the live video from IP cameras you already own on your own Wi‑Fi network. This policy explains what data the app handles and what it does not.
Short version: Glance keeps everything on your device. We run no servers, we have no account system, and we do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data.
To connect to your cameras, the app stores the connection details you enter:
This information is stored only on your device, encrypted at rest
using Android’s EncryptedSharedPreferences (AES‑256). It is never uploaded
anywhere. You can delete any camera at any time from the app’s Settings screen, and
uninstalling the app removes all of it.
Glance contacts no external or cloud servers. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third‑party data‑collection SDKs in the app.
Glance is a general‑purpose utility and is not directed to children.
All data lives on your device. Remove individual cameras in Settings, or uninstall the app to erase everything. Because we store nothing on our side, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this page.
